Question: Does patch make pinetab-early-adopters.dts obsolete?

Investigating problems for the Pinetab1 I found that there are two dts files for the Pintab1.

1. pinetab.dts
2. pinetab-early-adopter.dts

The 1. was for the developer sample (some units for devs), the 2. was for the product (~1000 units) called Pintab for early adopters. The devices had different display panels, thats why there were two .dts files. I found this patch enable panel at pinetab.dts.

Question: Does this patch make the pinetab-early-adopters.dts obsolete?
