PPP: Failure to resume from suspend

I initially ran into the bootloop recently documented as https://gitlab.com/mobian1/devices/pinephonepro-support/-/issues/7

After creating a new install to over come the bootloop I discovered that resume from suspend no longer functions.

I installed using the mobian 4/03 installer to eMMC with FDE enabled on the pinephone-pro. I upgraded to the 5.17 kernel and verified initramfs updated. Currently running the most recent release of tow-boot as well.
