docs: Improve intro

Otto Kekäläinen requested to merge otto/git-buildpackage:docs-intro-with-examples into master

See commits for details. My intent was to write the intro longer, explain the benefits of having a debian/gbp.conf in each Debian packagign repository, and include elements from https://pad.debian.net/p/Role_model_README.source.md but I think I need to fix !28 first to make it easier to work with these XML files.
