The Android emulator is a standalone Android SDK package called emulator. It is developed out in the open, and is available in the emu-master-dev branch.

The Android emulator is a fork of QEMU, which is already in Debian. So those QEMU packages could be a useful source of in for tips on how to package the Android emulator.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
