Debian MySQL upgrade and cacti fixes (together with dbconfig)
@rbasak has started new merges for MySQL and he realized that cacti had some issues on MySQL authentication because of MySQL 8 changes. In order to allow cacti to fully work with the new MySQL version, we have prepared some changes for dbconfig-common and dbconfig-mysql:
And, as soon as they are accepted, if they are, we would need the fix proposed in this MR to cacti package as well.
Our changes to dbconfig allow a different authentication plugin to be configured for MySQL, using dbconfig and debconf. This way, cacti is able to fully work and pass the autopkgtests in the new environment with the new MySQL version.
Please let me know if something else is needed or this is okay to be accepted as-is. I have already tried out autopkgtests and cacti seems in good shape with these changes.
Thank you very much in advance for reviewing and considering this. Our intent here is to merge these fixes so Ubuntu has minimum delta possible.
