automate publishing of news in bits.d.o and debconf19.debconf.org?

The news items about DebConf are both published in bits.debian.org and in debconfXX.debian.org This has been a manual process until now, and it has been suggested that we could automate this somehow. Both places use markdown but the notation is not the same. We would use debconf19 tag (among others) for the news items in bits.debian.org

I don't know if it's worthwhile to do some actual automation; opening the issue so the conversation is not forgotten, but please consider severity as wishlist, probably there are other priorities and it's fine if so.
