These patches have been contributed to Buildroot during last decade. They have never been upstreamed. They've been tested a lot, since they are committed to Buildroot since 2009.

You can see the same patches I've applied here: https://git.buildroot.net/buildroot/tree/package/at

In this way, Buildroot can remove them.
