gen-rescue-netscript

Project information

gen-rescue-netscript generates a shell script to configure a rescue system's network according to the current network configuration of the running system. It inspects that configuration via ip(8) --json output and emits a standalone POSIX sh script that recreates it, for use e.g. when booting a rescue image and needing to bring the same box back onto the same network without DHCP being available or wanted.
