Release 2015.2 This release changes the command line - there are now two clearly separate subcommands `sign` and `verify`. This is important because I'd like to add more sophisticated options in the future to each of them. For example, `verify` should gain a `--fingerprint` option to pin to a particular key fingerprint from the user's keyring. This is a lot more secure than allowing any fetched key. Initial experimental release This initial release of git-evtag is suitable for feedback and experimentation. The core algorithm is not yet defined to be stable, but any changes will increase the version number. For example, if you maintain a system that mirrors or consumes source code, consider how you might use it for verification of upstream sources.
