Upstream moves to kernel.org

Hi Hayashi-san,

Thanks for your maintenance of debian package! I would like to talk with you about upstream move and related issues.

Recently I become a maintainer of Linux FireWire subsystem. I will maintain libhinawa as the part of subsystem, and move its upstream to git.kernel.org. For the next release of libhinawa, we need to switch download URL, and I have two options for the location.

Would I ask your option (and decision) which option is better for our case? The first option is to use https://kernel.org/pub/linux/libs/ieee1394/ like the other tools (e.g. iproute2). Another option is to use git tag with signature, but I have no idea that uscan(1) support the case.

In both cases, it is expected to be guaranteed that the URL is fixed as long as kernel.org continues. We can select one of the options so that the packaging task is simpler.

Thanks
