After merging spice into Ubuntu today I was happy to find almost all our Delta appearing in Debian. There is one thing that is left which is the autopkgtest fixups. This never worked in Debian and only due to my fixups in Ubuntu.
I have fixed the tests again and ran them once more. They now have a good RC no more hitting any of the asserts. => logs
But to be honest, I must say I'm not really happy with the tests. It seems upstream has given up on them like here and more so by dropping base_test.ppm and regression-test.py from the release tarball. So this isn't really meant to be run in downstreams I'd think.
So I'd ask you to either a) consider accepting this MP to fix the tests up as good as possible for now b) dropping all in d/t/*
Since the test seems neglected (b) might even be the cleaner solution, but I'll leave that decision up to you.
