With matrix.org's oftc bridge likely shutting down soon, this would allow current users like me to switch to debian's bridge and not loose access to these channels in their matrix clients.

Update: I found an existing room for #debian-offtopic when checking issues here¹, but it is not in the Debian Matrix Space, so I removed it above. Is there a complete list of irc channels bridged by debian-social somewhere?
Update #2 (closed) that debian offtopic room doesn't work, sorry, so put it back above, but there is already a bridge to #debian-next, I just missed it earlier, so removed that above.

Update2: Also found #debian-next already, sorry. I didn't think of just trying to join it blindly to see if it existed, and the one in the Debian Matrix Space said "debian-next" not "#debian-next" so I didn't realize it was an irc channel.

Link the room to IRC within the matrix-appservice-irc config bundle -
Deploy the changes -
Invite social team and @mjolnir:matrix.debian.social as admins -
Invite requester as admin if applicable -
Add room to #debian:matrix.debian.social space
