Initially collapse stashes section · 4dc1d059
      Jonas Bernoulli authored
A long time ago that was what used to happen but I changed the default
because I thought that would encourage users, like me, who tend to
leave too many old stashes laying around, to do something about it.

That didn't work at all, at least not for me, the stashes just got
more annoying. So once it added support for letting users set the
initial visibility I took advantage of that and hid them again.

Now I am doing the same for everyone.

      magit-repository-directories: Add some default directories · f77d1158
      Jonas Bernoulli authored
If these directories do not actually exist or don't contain any
repositories, then that isn't much of a problem but it helps users of
`borg'. Users who want to use that features that use the value of
this option have to customize this anyway (except now `borg' users),
so the default being non-nil shouldn't upset anyone.

      magit-revision-show-gravatar: Make more easily customizable · b82228bc
      Jonas Bernoulli authored
Actually it was already easily customizable using the
Custom interface, but when using `setq' it was painful.

magit-insert-revision-gravatars: Allow inserting only one of them · f4b8fee6
      Jonas Bernoulli authored
The documentation already claimed that was possible, but trying to do
so would actually have resulted in an error. Not that I expect that
anyone would want to do this--but lets behave as documented anyway.

      magit-gitdir: New function · 5f407a29
      Jonas Bernoulli authored
This is intended as a replacement for `magit-git-dir', whose
argument is weird. For now `magit-gitdir' is just a wrapper
      and `magit-git-dir' isn't deprecated yet.

      Require magit-submodule when loading magit · 2caa0390
      Jonas Bernoulli authored
The keymap for the `module' section type is defined in
`magit-submodule' and used by a section inserter in `magit'. Due to
how `magit-insert-section' uses section keymaps we cannot rely on the
variable being autoloaded - calling `boundp' does not trigger the
library that defines the autoloaded variable to be loaded.

      Fixes #3618.
