trixie has many fewer repositories than bookworm

Upgrading to Trixie, there are many fewer Extrepo repositories. Compare:

Should I just create a merge request with the missing .asc files or is there some other process to get these populated. Trixie release is upcoming 9-Aug.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
