Complete relaunch of freedombox.org

I'm unhappy with our homepage. In my eyes there are just too many issues with the website in its current form. It does not lead visitors consistently towards a clear goal. Neither from our perspective, nor from the user perspective. There is too much text and the page in general is way too much focused on a technically skilled audience.

I propose to create a one-page-site that aims more directly at "non-geeks" and purposefully sacrificing depth and a claim to "completeness". Key sections to convey would be:

  • What is FreedomBox?
  • Why would you care?
  • Why should you trust us?
  • What can I do now?

What do you think about moving towards that direction?
