WIP: Community Governance page
Here is a WIP for the community governance page. Before posting this request, I made many minor revisions (phrasing, sentence structure, headings) to the text of the page. Since nobody agreed to these minor revisions, I posted the new version of the text to the original forum thread for the sake of transparency and to help folks compare the differences with the old version. Feedback on these changes is welcome.
What is missing from this WIP:
Side-by-side aligned images for each core team member (I originally imagined that our names and avatars would appear in a horizontal line, not a vertical list). I experimented with various HTML tips from online guides, but ultimately couldn't figure out how to get this right.
Images of each of our pictures/avatars in the /assets/images/ directory: I believe only Sunil and I volunteered to put photos of ourselves, which means that we need avatars for James and Joseph (I previously suggested circles with the person's initials inside). None of those photos have been added to the /assets/images/ directory yet.
Representation of the community page in the footer or some other menu. The footer is already full, and I haven't identified which link in the current footer would be removed to make space for this new page. Ideally, we could go forward with the relaunch and add this community page to the top menu bar.
Help and ideas for these three unfinished items are welcome. And feedback for the WIP in general is also welcome.
