Create Marketing/Fundraising Team
Even though the project has made incredible progress, the "freedom box" is not ready for prime time fpr general consumer (non-techy) use. Despite this, much can be done in the effort of creating awareness, building demand, and even acquiring new financial supporters given the right marketing/communication strategy is used.
I recommend (really) small marketing/communication projects be pursued (e.g. landing pages/converting guest of website into donor, community engagement/updating).
I have a background in digital marketing and strategy - I wouldn't mind assisting/jump starting this. I just learned about the project from FOSSCON (where I spoke on the topic of FOSS projects/marketing "Linux Marketing Sux".
