ui: user dropdown menu extends beyond window

The current image (ui_user_menu.png) of the user dropdown menu in the manual (Finding your way around/User menu) fully shows the menu items, yet when I display the same screen in a window and capture an image at the same resolution (1000x713 pixels) some of the item text ends up outside the window. I see the full text when the window is very wide or full screen, but not as I shrink it horizontally to the point where it switches to burger menu mode.

There have been UI changes between the time the manual image was taken and now. Am I missing something or has the UI behavior changed?
