XMPP page does not show domain (although Config does)

I know there are similar issues open for the domain name, but this one seems slightly different.

In this case, the domain name is shown correctly on the Configuration page, but does not show up on the XMPP page. It looks like socket.getfqdn() returns the correct value, but it's somehow not linked into the XMPP template.
