      run querybts/browser as non-root (Closes: #910122) · 60fe655d
      Francesco Poli authored
      The external programs (querybts and a web browser) should be run
      after dropping root privileges, if possible.
      This requires an appropriate tool to properly drop root privileges,
      such as s6-setuidgid from package s6.
      See https://jdebp.eu/FGA/dont-abuse-su-for-dropping-privileges.html
      for further information about the correct way to securely drop
      root privileges.

      Hence, s6 is added to the list of recommended packages.
      Then, if apt-listbugs is run as a regular user, no special tricks
      are required (external programs will be run as the effective userid).
      On the other hand, if apt-listbugs is run as root, two cases are
      possible.
      If root was the originally logged-in user, the external programs will have
      to be run as root (not even the existence of a regular user account is
      guaranteed).
      Otherwise, if a regular user became root (with "su -", "sudo", ...),
      then the external programs will be run as that regular user, as long as
      package s6 is installed.
