(was: Assorted improvements): tweak lgogdownloader integration

This is my first contribution to this project, so I have very little idea of what I am doing.

These changes allowed me to produce deb packages which I could then play-test for a few minutes each with the corresponding engine, with two exceptions:

• duke1
• enemy-territory as AFAICS these engines are not packaged in Debian.
