Autostart support for snap · d6d223d0
      Michael Terry authored
      - Use snapcraft's support for registering an autostart command
        to start our monitor
      - When deja-dup starts up, start the monitor if it isn't running
      - Have the monitor shut down when periodic is disabled
      - Only do a prompt check on monitor startup - this lets us have
the monitor only care about the periodic logic after startup

Drop ulimit hack for now · 390df252
      Michael Terry authored
Apparently webkit which now gets pulled in via GOA can't handle
ulimit and crashes us. We'll just have to watch for runaway memory
      another way.

monitor: limit memory usage of deja-dup-monitor · 37cb14ef
      Michael Terry authored
We've had reports of deja-dup-monitor taking all the system memory.
But I haven't been able to reproduce. In an attempt to prevent the
monitor from dragging down the system, set a limit on memory use
by the autostart monitor process using ulimit.

This needs continued watching to see if we can fix this for real.
And to make sure we haven't made anything worse with this
      workaround.

(Also in this commit, we rename the file and move it in-source.)

Hide cloud backends by default. · 6489179a
      Michael Terry authored
GNOME Online Accounts is now the preferred cloud provider. This lets us
standardize on gvfs and they are generally more user-friendly than signing
up for a S3 account or the like.

Cloud providers are still available for use and will show up in the UI if
the user was using one before or if they manually set it in gsettings.

We also show all cloud providers in the drop down when restoring (since who
knows where the user had their data at that point).
