Update Ubuntu to 47 Beta

  • We should probably enable malcontent since it is enabled in Ubuntu 24.10 gnome-control-center. To do this, we should check the UI for the new-user mode.
  • The new release adds build tests. The build test fails with Do-not-skip-g-i-s-first-login-mode-after-user-creation.patch. The build test assumes that it can use gnome-initial-setup-copy-worker to create the gnome-initial-setup-done file.
    • Should we ignore build test failures since this can't work with our setup?
    • Should we figure out a different way to solve our original issue than the way we solved it in the patch?
    • Or should we tweak the build tests to get them to pass?
    • Notably, upstream disabled existing-user mode years ago. The test does still manage to work in Debian because Debian doesn't have this patch.
