Mibbit says "irc.gnome.org: Terminated"; also add Matrix.

A new, redundant timer was created each time tile pairs were removed
or hints were shown, leading to excessive resource usage over time.

Looking at newer GNOME apps, they seem to have moved away from
this practice. The Appdata file is a good replacement that doesn't
require a lot of translated strings.
