  • Fix a crash involving Wayland subsurfaces, which can be triggered by Firefox in Wayland mode (fix backported from 41~beta and 40.5)
  • Avoid flooding Xwayland clients (X11 apps under Wayland) with window management events (fix backported from 41.1 and 40.6)
  • Fix protocol error during Alt + drag-and-drop from Firefox in Wayland mode (fix backported from 41.1 and 40.6)
  • When an app/game using VSync is full-screen in a multi-monitor setup, use the refresh rate of the correct monitor (fix backported from 41.2-1, expected to be included in 41.3)
  • Fix Wayland viewport surface damage calculations (fix backported from 41.2-2, expected to be included in 41.3)

Closes: #1002651

Not ready to apply yet: I will need a better justification for the last few patches before I can "sell" this to the release team as being worth the regression risk.
