chatView: Improve link hover handling · 4f7cec7c
      Florian Müllner authored
Links are added with two text tags, one for generic styling shared
between all links and one url-specific one to handle interaction.
However with the hover styling added in commit cd69f6ce, we now
always override the foreground color specified by the generic tag.
This usually does not matter as the colors match, except that we
update the shared 'url' tag on style changes, but not the url-specific
ones. As hovering is a transient state, we don't care much about
updating hovered links immediately, but for links that are not
currently hovered, we shouldn't wait until the pointer moves over
the link again; simply stop overriding the 'url' tag in that case.

chatView: Highlight links on hover · cd69f6ce
      Florian Müllner authored
GTK+ started doing this for links in labels, so follow suite. It's
a nice touch anyway - while the underline and cursor change are
well established indications for clickable links, the highlight
still helps in the case of multiple links in succession.

chatView: Clean up handling of interactive tags · 6ba4640b
      Florian Müllner authored
With the new status grouping where the header can be clicked to reveal
collapsed status messages, we now have a second text tag that responds
to input besides clickable links. This makes the code that handles them
centrally quite awkward, as we now need to differentiate not only on the
type of events, but also the tag type interacted with.
Clean this up by splitting out the generally useful event handling into
a ButtonTag class (with some help in TextView for hover-tracking), and
use its ::clicked, ::button-press-event and ::button-release-event signals
to implement links and status group headers and a much more natural way.

      chatView: Animate auto-scrolling to bottom · 65f9c8a0
      Florian Müllner authored
Unless the user is reading the backlog or there are unread highlights,
we jump to the bottom of the view on arrival of new messages. While
the jump is usually a single line, animations generally give transitions
a more natural feel, so move the cursor instead which allows GTK+ to
      animate the transition.

chatView: Fix updating compressed status message · 6f044e06
      Florian Müllner authored
When updating the status group header, we delete all text until
the end of the header tag before inserting the updated status
summary. However this means that on the first update, we remove
the newline between header and collapsed status message that is
included by the tag - fix by deleting to the line end instead of
      the tag toggle.
