Keeping the upstream/* branches is duplicating stuff.  You'd have to set
an elinks.or.cz remote and fetch upstream branches to a working copy for
local use if you want them.

upstream/ branches for tracking upstream.

The master branch will have just the README.txt file that explains the
purpose of different branches.
