Current State
guix is currently in dla-needed.txt, but according to packages-to-support.yml there is no paying customer.
Obstacles Preventing Continued Support
guix is being removed in the upcoming bookworm and trixie point releases due to being unsupportable:

bullseye was the first release that included guix.
