Building libbpp-core with Gcc 10 instead of Gcc 9 triggered the
disappearance of public symbols, effectively rendering the library
incompatible with versions built with Gcc 9 (if I understood the
documentation correctly).  Since this would require organizing a
transition, I start with a side branch.
