Opened a pull request upstream on the author's original repository, however there hasn't been any activity in a while. Other MR have been sitting here unanswered (even with friendly nudges to get attention). I also tried contacting the author externally via email.

Debian's devscripts has salsa which is used to administrate GitLab. To increase its functionality, additional APIs needed to be added (these patches).
