Provide further Ubuntu-only Delta to be available in the shared code hosting

Hi, as requested here a few other changes which - while as of today ubuntu-only - would make sense to be present in our shared code behind the ususal :debian:/:ubuntu: markers.

That way you can easily see what we do and follow if you or anyone else wants and vice versa any global search&replace that you do will automatically hit these sections as well.

I was holding back in the past thinking it won't matter to you, but you were right to ask for it. So after you already cherry-picked a bunch of the changes I hope this helps to get even closer.
