    tootle(1) contains a time-stamped error message from some tool.

    Note that the DESCRIPTION section is also broken.

    Best fix would be to generate the man page headlessly (without X11), but

    for the purposes of reproducibility, running some parts of the build

    under xvfb(1) might suffice.
