Homebrew Formula Build Issue Mac

I am trying to create a Homebrew formula for CCID. When I go to use run make install, I get the following error:

Dynamic library libusb found in /usr/local/Cellar/libusb/1.0.23/lib
*****************************

Is there a way to during the config to use the homebrew version of this library?
