runner system failures

Lazarus Salsa CI fails with "There has been a runner system failure, please try again"

However, trying again, does not resolve the issue, it always fails the same way. What is needed to get the pipeline to run? (It has never every worked)

One clue is maybe that the Docker image used is registry.salsa.debian.org/salsa-ci-team/pipeline/base:

whereas successful jobs usually use registry.salsa.debian.org/salsa-ci-team/pipeline/base:unstable
