Building a SalsaCI Service for more user friendly job results and enable building multi repo/branch pipelines.

This service would provide a more elegant way to view and control Salsa CI pipelines by leveraging glab and/or GitLab APIs.

Examples of features that this tool would provide:

  • Dashboard viewing the status of running pipelines/jobs in a more elegant way than just text logs.
  • Enable building more complex pipelines which involve more than one branch and/or repo and declare dependency relationships between them.

It would be a lightweight service that is easy to be installed locally. Having a global service would also be feasible and useful.

This service would be inspired by the Debusine project which got created to overcome limitations of currently Debian tools including SalsaCI by developing a new independent service.

Providing any feedback about this suggestion would be great!
