Use of SALSA_CI_EXTRA_REPOSITORY regressed, errors on Malformed line 1 in source list

I have set in debian/gitlab-ci.yml:

SALSA_CI_EXTRA_REPOSITORY: debian/extra-repo.list

debian/extra-repo.list:

deb [trusted=yes] https://salsa.debian.org/electronics-team/cocotb/-/jo
bs/8375171/artifacts/raw/aptly unstable main

This worked last year. Yet, when I ran it recently, I got this error:

E: Malformed line 1 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/sbuild-extra-repositories.list (type)
E: The list of sources could not be read.
E: apt-get update failed
