Publish stats about salsa.debian.org

(sorry if posting this in the wrong place, but this https://salsa.debian.org/salsa/todo project seemed more appropriate than posting a feature request at https://salsa.debian.org/salsa/support)

For example in https://daniel-lange.com/archives/140-Debian-Gitlab-salsa.debian.org-tricks.html Daniel Lange posted:

As of now() salsa has 15,320 projects, 2,655 users in 298 groups. Alioth has 29,590 git repositories (which is roughly equivalent to a project in Gitlab), 30,498 users in 1,154 projects (which is roughly equivalent a group in Gitlab).

In https://micronews.debian.org/2024/1724368366.html it was announced that:

salsa.debian.org: has ~15.500 users, 79.000 projects, 750 groups, 31.000 forks, 14.600 issues, and 64.000 merge requests

There has also been some posts by Joerg on debian-project@ about Salsa stats.

I would be curious to know what the numbers are now, and how they evolved over the years (similar to how trends.debian.net does).

Additionally, it would be cool to see other stats too, like many CI runners are active or how long the queue is so people can discover on their own if things are stuck due to overload. Also other resource stats could be good, such as how much storage is consumed and on what, so people can self-direct to clean up e.g. the Docker registry that ballooned earlier.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
