The following documents the features that are brought by packages
listed in the debian/control Suggests: field.
This package's suggestions enable the following optional features:
* libimage-exiftool-perl: brings the exiftool program used to write
bibliographic data (in the form of an XMP format packet) into the
corresponding file;
* libimage-exiftool-perl: enable storage of bibliographic data (as
XMP-format metainformation) into PDF files.
* konqueror: brings the kfmclient program which permits copying or
moving files while taking care of advanced browsing preferences.
* konqueror: cb2Bib manages local and network files in an equivalent
manner. Network file retrieving, however, requires sometimes
password and/or cookies administration, both of which can be enabled
by the kfmclient utility, shipped within the konqueror package.
* poppler-utils | xpdf-utils: brings the pdftotext program used to
extract textual data from pdf files.
* poppler-utils | xpdf-utils: enable conversion of PDF files to simple
text (required for cb2bib extraction of bibliographical data from
articles in PDF format).
* bibutils: brings programs to convert between BibTeX, COPAC, EndNote
refer, EndNote XML, Pubmed XML, ISI web of science, US Library of
Congress MODS XML, RIS, and Word 2007 bibliography bibliographic
data formats.
* bibutils: enable conversion between BibTeX, COPAC, EndNote refer,
EndNote XML, Pubmed XML, ISI web of science, US Library of Congress
MODS XML, RIS, and Word 2007 bibliography bibliographic data
formats.
* jsmath: displays the mathematical notation in the text notes.
* jsmath: enable display of the mathematical notation in the text
notes.
* texlive-latex-base: bring the latex program to compile LaTeX
* texlive-latex-base: enable latex-based compilation of LaTeX
documents.
* texlive-base-bin: brings the dvipdfm program to convert DVI LaTeX
* texlive-base-bin: enable dvipdfm-based conversion of DVI LaTeX
output to PDF.
