PMovie

This is just a bash script I wrote for myself to help manage my Plex server. I keep my actual Video files in a separate location and place symbolic links inside another directory that Plex looks at. That way Plex is organized the way it wants, but navigating my "Videos" directory in a file browser is less complicated.

This script is basically there to save me the time and effort of running the same commands and arguments over again every time I add content to my server. You will have to modify it to suit your needs, specifically the file paths. It's useful for any situation where you regularly place links from files in one directory into another directory. Obviously you could modify this to ask for the source and destination directories, but at that point you might as well just run ln -s because you're not saving the end user any typing if they have to type in directory paths anyway.
