[DUPLICATE] firefox popups causes flickering

it seems that actions like clicking the hamburger menu or other menu items that spawn a submenu causes it a subsurface but then it blacks out the main surface, flickering between the two as you move your focus between the two

it also happens with the password save dialog but strangely not with the pop up to unlock firefox with your primary password.
