lomiri shell: spread touch is off / broken
How to reproduce this issue:
- Install Debian 13 minimal on physical hardware that has a touch display (e.g. a Yoga notebook, a tablet like device, etc.), and run
apt install lomiri
afterwards. Reboot. - Log into Lomiri via the greeter
- Go to the system indicator (indicator bar, the very right icon) and disable "Desktop Mode" / "Computer Mode", this should set the Lomiri shell into "Staged" usage mode. App windows switch to fullscreen and the side stage becomes usable.
- Launch some applications to play with via the spread.
- Now swipe in from the right, enabling Lomiri's spread, try to close some apps or bring them to foreground
- Observe.
What you will observe:
- After swiping in from the right, you won't be able to e.g. activate an app and bring to foreground. Always the app on the very left will come to foreground.
- When you try to swipe and app up or down (with the intention to close it), you will also bring the most left app to foreground
- If you swipe in from the right, wait and then swipe in again (so that the spreaded apps bounce to the left), then the apps can be dragged up/down or activated
What should happen:
- Swiping to the spread should always lead to apps being draggable for closure or touchable for activation / foregrounding
