* Rewrite debian/rules to use debhelper 9.
* Apply patch from Antonio Terceiro to add autopkgtests.
* Suggest perl instead of perl-modules.
* Set the source format to 3.0 (native).
* Drop irrelevant lintian overrides.
* Drop part of the postrm, which is now inserted by debhelper.
* Drop dependencies that debhelper inserts via ${misc:Depends}.
