Short note on improved init support, link to wiki (Closes: #992025)

Feedback on !119 (closed) / #992025 was that some people would rather a much shorter note on the improved support for alternative inits, and a link to the Debian wiki for more detailed instructions.

I think this approach is less helpful to our users, but something is better than nothing...

Sorry it took so long. But I had to get my mind on other things for a while.
