At the time of writing this, there are 10 open MR against init-system-helpers. I think it will help contributors if the usual salsaci pipeline was running for init-system-helpers to easily check whether their changes cause a regression or not. This is especially helpful with the changes from !17 (merged) which runs the full test suite at build time.
