Two bugfixes and a usability improvement

This MR provides two bugfixes and one usability improvement:

  1. The Preview button works again. (Closes: #1014782 - I'm not sure if the work done here also fixed the ability for the screensaver to automatically activate, but in my testing, the screensaver can automatically activate now.)
  2. Screensaver documentation can be shown even if xterm is not installed. (No bug filed that I know of.)
  3. The displayed manpage closes immediately if the user attempts to close it by pressing "q", rather than having the terminal linger on the screen until Enter is pressed. (I'm not sure if this used to be a problem or not, but I do know that after making fix 2 work, this became a problem, so now it is no longer.)
