gconf cleanup

Jeremy Bícha requested to merge jbicha/pdfmod:885051-gconf-cleanup into master

This is enough to get pdfmod back into Debian Testing. I'm going to upload this to Debian soon as an NMU.

I made sure that this runs in Debian Testing. (On a sadder note, it doesn't run in Ubuntu 18.10. Maybe GNOME mono stuff is broken there. 😞 )
