Merge the git tag debian/1%44.1 to ubuntu/master

Drop several patches that are no longer needed:

Fix label of formats for the login screen
Allow configuring all monitors at once
Prevent deplicate sound device entries
Do not crash when closing the color panel
Various upstream gnome 44 fixes
