Not yet tested; I'm running 49.x on my main system now.
We should test this on a testing/unstable system and upload to unstable, unless it's superseded by doing the GNOME 49 transition (but that has a few blockers left). Even if it never makes it to unstable, it seems like something to try to backport to trixie-proposed-updates later.
