Sync from experimental

This merges the changes made since 6.5.0-1 back into the debian/sid branch, in preparation for uploading 6.6.0-1.

It's almost a pure fast-forward: after merge, the debian/sid branch will be exactly one commit ahead of the debian/experimental. Said commit is the one switching debian-branch in gbp.conf back to debian/sid, which is of course necessary to keep the branch state consistent.
