Experimental - Cleanup for v2.1.1

Could you please consider merging this into experimental ? This will fix my previous MR in all aspects. I have tested the package generations, autopkgtest, dependencies, etc. I will have to give a further look at installer hooks and alikes.

For now, lintian in pedantic mode gives:
